AMBULANCE DANCE.

OTAHUHU DIVISION. There was scarcely moving room on the. floor of the Otahuhu Public Hall on Monday evening, when the Otahuhu division of the St. John Ambulance held its annual dance. The hall was arranged with streamers of black and white, the ambulance colours, which radiated from an ambulance cross suspended from the centre of the ceiling to the walls. Gay buntings were hung round the walls and were draped across the windows, while tubs of greenery were placed about ■ the stage. Superintendent Ambrose welcomed the guests and thanked them for their assistance to the division. Dance music was supplied by the Ambassadors Dance Baud. The duties of master of ceremonies were carried out by Mr. W. Wells. The energetic committee comprised-: Superintendent T..Ambrose, Hon. Sergeant C. Robson (secretary), Corporal E. Moorman, Cadet Superintendent C. E, Westbrooke, Privates D. Mac Donald, S. Burnian, jun., and C. Turner. Those present included the, Mayoress, Mrs. C.
