TO-DAY IN CHRISTCHURCH. (By Telegraph.—Special to "Star.") CHIUSTCHURCH, this day. Although prices were somewhat irregular the markets were steadier than during tho past few days. Inquiries covered a good range. Local body issues had attention. Buyers were in for Australasias at £11 2/6, and no sellers. Commercials were wider, with buyers 16/ and sellers 16/9. New South Wales buyers advanced to £32 10/ from £31 15/ yesterday. Sellers were firm at £32 15/. Reserves were offered at £6 10/. Unions had unsupported sellers at £9 11/. Buyers were in for South British at £4 10/; sellers wanted £4 17/6. Dalgety's had business at £8 10/, closing with buyers at £8 8/0 and sellers £8 15/. Aji offer for Goldsbrought was Cd up, at £1 12/5, sellers £1 12/9. Mortgage Corporation were firmer; buyers 6/2, sellers 6/4. Breweries had buyers 2d up, at £2 11/9, sellers £2 12/8. Tooth's widened, with buyers £2 13/ and sellers £2 14/6. Horderns recovered, buyers 19/2, sellers 19/5. Tobaccos were easier, with a sale at £1 19/4, and Broken Hills at £3 5/6.
