. Tho Hon. J. Alexander, C.M.G., is leaving for the south by the Limited to-night. Mr. W. H. Cocker, a member of the Broadcasting Board, is leaving for the south by the Limited to-night. The Hon. T. Bloodworth, M.L.C., and Mrs. Bloodworth will be passengers, for the south on the Limited to-night. Mr. W. A. Bishop, chairman of the Waitemata County Council, leaves for the south by the Limited to-night. Dr. and Mrs. A. Spong and their two children returned from England by the New Zealand Star yesterday morning. Mr. S. Hutchison, of Shanghai, left Auckland yesterday for the Waikato, where he is studying dairy production. He returns at the end of the week. Mr. N. C. Pierce, secretary of the Auckland Lawn Tennis Association, left for Wellington by train last night to attend the annual meeting of the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association. Mr. E. G. Kerr, jun., of the "Timaru Herald," who attended the Press Conference in South Africa, and afterwards witnessed the King's Jubilee celebrations in England, has reached Sydney by the Jervis Bay on his homeward journey, states a Sydney cable message.
