LEAGUE OF MOTHERS.
EPSOM. There was a large attendance at the meetinor of the Epsom branch of the League° of Mothers, held at the Baptist Hall, Inverness Avenue, on Thursday. Mrs. James Wylie, the newly-elected president, was in the chair. A talk on the training of children was given by Miss Kennedy, of the Auckland Training College. A recitation was given by Mrs. Kirkpatrick, of the Onehunga branch. Afternoon tea was served by a committee under the convenorship of Mrs. de I/aunay. GREY LYNN. The annual meeting of the Grey Lynn branch of the League of Mothers was held in St. Columba Hall, Surrey Crescent, Mrs. Hynes presiding. The following officers were elected: —Mrs. Hynes, president (re-elected); Mesdames McKenzie and McFerran, vice-presi-dents; Mrs. H. Porter, secretaryreporter (re-elected); Mrs. G. Adair, treasurer (re-elected); Mrs. Watson, magazine secretary; Miss Davis (Takanini), correspondent; Mrs. Heath, pianist; Mesdames Trenwith, Armitage, Townsend, Ho<rwood, Nield, Boler and Dunne, committee.
