COMMUNITY SUNSHINE.
MEADOWBANK-GREEN LANE BRANCH. At the monthly meeting of the Meadowbank-Green Lane branch, held at 5, Karetu Road, Great South Road, Mrs. E. S. Winks presided. Mrs. Whyte, the social convener, reported that the bridge afternoons were a success and she had £7 to hand in. Tho fair was discussed, also a children's fancy dress ball to be held at the end of September. After the business of the meeting, the Mayoress of One Tree Hill, Mrs. Goldstino, was entertained at a morning tea. Mrs. Winks, on behalf of the committee, thanked the Mayoress for consenting to bo a patroness to the branch and presented her with a posy.
