Six schoolboys had an astonishing escape from serious injury, even death, late yesterday afternoon when a saloon car driven by Wynn Davies, a New Plymouth Boys' High School pupil, capsized on the inain road. Of the six occupants three are from the Auckland Grammar School and are taking part in the quadrangular Rugby tournament. Thev were returning from North Egmont when the car developed wheel wobble as it reached the crest of a hill. The driver completely lost control and the car crossed the road twice, struck a severe bump, leapt into the air and turned over, landing flat on its hood, which collapsed. All of the six occupants suffered severely from shock, but only one received minor abrasions.
