AUCKLAND GRAMMAR SCHOOL.

FAREWELLS TO MR. H. J. D. MAHON.

Mr. 11. J. D. Mahon, the retiring headmaster of the Auckland Grammar School, was farewelled by the boys at the school this afternoon.

A second farewell function was held later at the Mount Eden kiosk, when the masters at the school farewelled their chief.

Old boys of the Auckland Grammar School from- all parts of the North Island will attend a complimentary dinner, which will be held at Hotel Cargon on Saturday evening, when the presentation of a piece of plate will be made to llr. Mahoii on behalf of the old bovs.
