RUGBY FOOTBALL.
JUNIOR MANAGEMENT.
At last night's meeting of the junior management board of the Auckland Rugby Football Union permission to travel to Tauranga on September 7 to play the local junior representatives was granted the Technical Old Boys' third grade team. The Manukau Sub-union wrote asking whether any third grade Auckland team would be able to visit the district after August 24. It was decided to forward a copy of the local draw, and to advise the sub-union to apply direct to the clubs. Any Auckland club team desiring to travel to the Manukau district on the occasion of its bye would be granted permission. E. A. Cousins was transferred from the Grafton Club to the Ponsonby fifth grade team. Ground officials for Saturday:—Takapuna, Mr. A. Jensen; Onehunga, Mr. Williams; North Shore, Mr. E. Mclnness; Avondale. Mr. N. Robertson; Western Springs, Mr. J. Hollier; Panmure, Mr. E. At. Harewood; Point Chevalier, Mr. L. Kelly; Papakura, Mr. S. A. Smith; Swanson,'Mr. H. A. Robertson; Gribble-Hirst Park, Mr. H. A. Starck; Victoria Park, Mr. S. Conyngham.
