JUNIOR MANAGEMENT.
WALMSLEY COLTS' SHIELD.
At the meeting of the junior management committee of the Auckland Rugby League last evening, Mr. D. Wilkie presiding, the Richmond Club's offer to contribute towards the expenses of the sixth grade Waiuku team to play in the city, was gratefully received. It wae announced that the special senior l> round would commence this week for the Walmsley Colts' Shield. The Northcote Ramblers' Club wae granted permission for its fourth grade team to travel to Whangarei next month. The registered Mangere senior B grade players were regraded to second grade, subject to the names 'being supplied. There will be eight teams in this knock-out competition, starting Saturday week. Owing to a player being out of order m the Ponsonby fourth grade team, the match was awarded to Point Chevalier. Regrade: G. Newton, Devonport to Glenora second grade. Clearance: .T. Stewart. Northcote thirds to Mount Albert seconds.
