MUSICAL EVENING.

A party of musicians, organised by Madame Aileen Johns and Miss Eva Hood, assembled on Saturday evening at the home of Miss Gladys Searell, Tirohanga Avenue, Remuera. The- music room was gay with golden flowers, while a huge log fire lent a cosy atmosphere to the room. Songs were sxuig by Madame Johns, Misses Patricia McLeod and Girleen Clarke, Messrs. Roger Errington, Churchouso and Charles Prime. Pianoforte selections were rendered by Miss Dora Judson, Gladys Searell, Pearl Wallace, Eva Hood, Patricia McLeod and Mre. Fowler, a violin solo by Miss Amy Stevenson, and elocutionary items by Mr. Dennis Johns. Two competitions were Avon by Miss Judson. and Miss Paterson. 'Among the guests were: Mesdamee Cook, Clias. Prime, Fowler, Misses Alice Law, Dora Judson, Ethel Hammond, Amy Thompson, Patricia McLeod, Nancy Paterson, W. Poad, Pearl Wallace, Girleen and Norah darke.
