NOT GUILTY.
AFFRAY IN OFFICE.
YOUNG MAN DISCHARGED.
A verdict of not guilty was returned yesterday afternoon by the jury which heard the charges of attempting to extort money by threats from Alfred Richard Buchanan, and assaulting Norman Kenneth Sligo, brought against John Leslie Spicer (Mr. Jenkins), aged 23, traveller.
The charges were a sequel to an affray n an office in Anzac Avenue on the night of May 17.
