WINDSOR LAD WINS. WINNER OF £38,000. (Received 11 a.m.) LONDON, July 19. The Eclipse Stakes, a sweepstake of £5 each, with £1500 added, for three and four-year-olds, one mile and a quarter, was run at Sandown Park yesterday anu resulted:— WINDSOR LAD, b c, 4yrs, by Blandford — Resplendent (Mr. M. H. Benson 1 THEFT, b c. 3yrs, by Tetratema — Voluce (H.H. Aga Klian) 2 FAIR TRIAL, ch c, 3yrs, by Fairway— Lady Juror (Mr. J. A. Dewar) Five started. Three-quarters of a length, same between second and third. Windsor Lad's victory marks liis final race before going to the stud. He is booked for many years at a fee of £400. He has won £38.000 and his value is now estimated at £80,000. Windsor Lad won the Derby last year for the Maharajah of Rajpipla and was subsequently ' sold to Mr. Benson for £50,000.
