COUNTRYWOMEN'S ORGANISATION.

WELLINGTON, Friday.

At the annual conference of the women's division of the New Zealand Farmers' Union to-day Mrs. C. K. Wilson (North King Country), Dominion vicepresident and editress of the isew Zealand Countrywoman," was elected unopposed to the presidency. Tlie following Dominion vice-presi-dents were elected: —South Island; Mesdames J. F. Drake (Otago), C. Mcintosh (North Canterbury), M. Ellen (South Canterbury). North Island: Mesdames J. C. Wickliam (Wanganui), C. J. Harris (North Taranaki), and W. Lane (North Auckland). Mrs. C. C. Jackson was elected lion, treasurer, and other officers were elected as follows: Advisory board for South Island, Mesdames A. Forsyth (Nelson), B. E. Evans (South Canterbury), W. Orr (Balfour); advisory board for North Island, Mesdames R. C. Clark (Waitemata), J. A. Harris (Turakina), A. H. McLean (Wanganui); bush nurse and housekeeping auxiliary advisory members, Mrs. L. A. Ilebberd (Utiku) and Miss M. Poison (Wanganui); finance committee, Mesdames W. B. Mathieson (Wellington), W. J. Poison (Wanganui), and T. B. McNeil (Wellington); organising committee, Mesdames M. J.
