ESTIMATES ADOPTED.
HENDERSON TOWN RATES.
Tho Henderson Town -Board's estimates for the ensuing year were adopted at a special meeting of the Town Board on Thursday. Rates were struck at 1/3 in tho £. , The revaluation of the district had resulted in a reduction of 34 per cent in the total valuation of tho district, the chairman, Mr. H. Norcross, said. The amount of the rate in the pound had been increased, but actually the ratepayers would have to find £500 less than for the previous year. The board expressed approval of the financial position of the district as disclosed by the annual report.
