MOTOR CRASH.
TWO IN HOSPITAL.
ONE MAN GRAVELY INJURED.
TAKAPUNA RESIDENTS

WHANGAREI, this day.
Mr. Jack Worthington, a single man, aged 34, of Takapuna, is ir hospital, critically injured, following a motor crash near Kamo Springs . last night. He has a fractured skull and a fractured thigh, and his condition is serious. Harry Gilbert Piatt, aged 28, single, also of Takapuna, was admitted to hospital suffering from shock. A third man, J. Piatt, escaped injury. The accident occurred at dusk last evening when the three men were returning from Broadwood, and H. Piatt was driving the motor vehicle. It is stated that as they were approaching the bridge near the Kamo Springs a bus approached in the opposite direction. H. Piatt, it is etatcd, speeded up to clear the bridge, and collided with the back #f a stationary car owned by Mr. M. Wakelin. The capsized vehicle was extensively damaged, and Mr. Wakelin's car was badly dented.
