ROTARY CLUB.
TO-BAY'S MEETING.
President J. P. O'Connor occupied the chair at to-day'e lunch meeting of the Auckland Rotary Club, held in Milne and ChoyceVs reception hall. There was a largo attendance, and amongst the visitors were:—Messrs. G. Gibson (New Plymouth), D. Humphrey (Gisborne), A. E. Bennett (Palmerston North), D. Chisliolm (Waimate), T. W. Woodward (Christchurch), C. Sandore, W. G. Wohlmann and Dr. Beeby (Wellington). Mr. Peter Dawson contributed two soloe, the "Yeomen of England" and "Molly Branigan." Rotarian Maughan Barnett was at the piano. The president mentioned that the newly-elected district governor, Dr. Stanley Foster, was expected to arrive in Auckland on Friday next, after attending the International Rotary Convention at Mexico. He would spend Saturday and Sunday at Whangarei, and would address the Rotary Club in that town on the Monday. The following day he would address the Auckland Rotary Club. The speaker of the day was Professor F. Clarke, of the University of London, who epoke on "Diversities in British Citizenship." T2ie vote of thanks was moved by Rotarian G. Morton Smith. i
