Suffering from concussion, Mr. James Holt, aged 40, single, of 34 Oliver Boad, Point Chevalier, was taken by St. John ambulance to the Auckland Hospital after the bicycle he was riding struck * power pole 'in Point Chevalier Road shortly before 7 o'clock last evening. His condition is not regarded as serious.
