TENNIS DANCE.

An enjoyable dance was held by the Eden and Epsom' Lawn Tennis Club at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Broun, Raliiri Road, Mount Eden. The ballroom was tastefully decorated with suitable lights and streamers. The guests were received by Mrs. Broun, who wore black marocain and lace. During the evening, Mr. A. C. Johns, in a happy speech, complimented cup and trophy winners during the past season, and presented them with their trophies. Members of the social committee present were Miss Doris White, pink satin; Miss P. Lowrie, dove grey crinkle crepe, and Miss C. Lane, primrose georgette. Among others present were: Mrs. V. Johns, black cire satin; Mrs. T. J. Kirkup, ■ black panne velvet; llm. Stevens, flame georgette; Mrs. W. Pocock, gold and black striped velvet; Miss Ena Stewart, white marocain; Miss Bebe Cooke. royal blue marocain; Miss V. Eccles, black tinsel velvet; Miss N. Whitelaw, black velvet; Miss K. Melville, apple green marocaiu; Misa S. Lockington, black panne velvet; Miss M. Robson, peach lace and georgette; Miss ■G. Hendcr, black crinkle crepe; Miss Curric, jubilee blue taffota; Miss McXab, tartan organdie; Miss Birch, cherry and white crinkle crepe; Miss Pain Cooke, jubilee blue crepe; Miss Danby, white lace; Mies Q. Robson, Marina blue moss crepe and silver lame; Miss G. Edwards, black ring velvet and gold lame; Miss M. Hall, flame marocain and silver lame; Miss Day, black and white crepe; Miss Slater, royal blue satin and silver lame.
