RUIN BY DROUGHT.
Queensland Farmers Face
Serious Plight.
30 POINTS OF RAIN THIS YEAR. (Received 10.30 a.m.) BRISBANE, this day. Drought in the western districts of Queensland is becoming worse daily. Graziers are killing iambs to save the ewes, and flocks have been seriously depleted. Only 30 points of rain have fallen this year. Many settlers face ruin as the country is devoid of grass, and the water sources have practically dried up.
