A fresh incident, less grave than the Ualual affair, is reported on the Abyssinian border near Uebeseebelli. Several are reported killed and wounded. Details are lacking. It was subsequently stated that following an Abyssinian attack on the police post at Uebeseebelli, 30 Italian Eritrean subjects were killed and thousands of cattle captured. Twenty armed Abyssinians on the same day attacked the Italian outpost at Gublei. They refused to halt and opened fire, which the Italians returned, killing 10 Abyssinians.
