PAIN IN THE HEAJJT HOCKEY PLAYER'S DEATH. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) FEILDING, Monday. A fatality marred a hockey tourney at Feilding to-day, a player named Philip Mclveown, aged 24, of Levin, succumbing after removal to hospital. MeKeown played in a game in the morning. No untoward incident was noticed, but after walking off the field MeKeown complained of a pain in the head. Subsequently he was found to be suffering from concussion and was ordered to hospital, where he died shortly afterward.
