TE PUKE SMASH.
CAR AND LORRY COLLIDE.
THREE OCCUPANTS INJURED. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) TE PUKE, this day. A collision took place at seven o'clock this morning on the Kahika Hill, one mile from Te Puke, between a motor car and a bread lorry. The ear, driven by Mr. Matt Te Hau, was returning to Te Puke by way of Rotorua from the Hamilton Winter Show. It also carried Messrs. Theo Tanner and Jack Fagan. The lorry was driven by Mr. Arthur Macks, who was accompanied by Mr. Reg. Carter. Both vehicles were damaged. Messrs. Carter and Macks had their faces cut, while the form - had several stitches in the head. Mr. Tanner, who was in the back seat of the ear, had a hand cut. The injuries were attended to by Dr. Kandell.
