PONSONBY CROQUET.

A most enjoyable afternoon was spent in the Farmers' reception room last week when the Ponsonby Croquet Club held a bridge and five hundred afternoon. The president, Mrs. Aitchison, welcomed the guests, and presented prizes to the following: Bridge, Mrs. Snedden; hidden number, Mrs. F. E. Bell; five hundred, Mrs. Kennett.
