NEW JUDGE.
MR. NORTHCROFT SWORN IN.
CEREMOXY AT SUPREME COURT
Air. E. H. Northcroft wax this afternoon sworn in as a judge of the Supremo Court of New Zealand. The ceremony was performed by Mr. Justice Reed in chambers at the Supreme Court. Mr. Justice- Northcroft. by the afternoon express, left for Wellington, where ho will begin his duties. Later he will go to Christchurch. where it is thought likely his headquarters will be. Ho will open his first seesion on the West Coast.
