MR. DAVIS' MAJORITY, 363. THREE ISSUES DECLARED. The official count for tlie Auckland mayoralty was completed this morning with the inclusion of declaration votes. Mr. Ernest Davis secured a majority of 303 over Mr. J. Sayegh. The figures are: — E. Davis 14 -207 J. Sayegh 13,904 A. J. Stallworthy 8.50!) Informal 498 Votes, cast 37,238 Although the counters worked all Saturday and yesterday, the official count for the City Council will not be completed to-dav. Ihe Auckland Transport Board official count is being made simultaneously, and the result will not be known until to-morrow. The polls for the city seats anil oil the Auckland Harbour Hoard and Auckland Hospital Board were declared this afternoon by the returning officer, Mr. P. F. Notley.
