Mr. E. C. Cutten left London on April 12 by the Baradine for Australia, on his return to New Zealand. Mr. A. Thompson, of Auckland, general manager in New Zealand for Thomas Cock and Son, has returned from Wellington. Mr. M. A. Black, agricultural instructor at Gisborne, has resigned, and it is his intention to accompany a friend on a, yachting cruise to the Islands. The Rev. C. W. Duncomb, of Napier, has accepted a unanimous call to the Shackleton Road Baptist Church, Mount Eden, and will commeUee his ministry on July 7. Mr. R. V. S. McPherson, Melbourne manager of the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., has been appointed chairman of the Melbourne Woolbrokers' Association. Mr. Fritz Hart, of the Conservatorium of Music, Melbourne, is a through passenger aboard the Aorangi, which ■arrived from Vancouver this morning. He has been acting as guest conductor of the Honolulu Symphony Orchestra.
