BODY WASHED UP.

AGED MAN'S DEATH.

MISSING FROM EPSOM. At 5.30 this morning the body of an elderly mail was found washed up on tlic carpenters' skids at the artillery yard at Devonport. It was later identilied as that of Mr. Anton Herlct, aged 80, who lived with his wife at 73. Epsom Avenue, Epsom. The body was fully clothed, and ; t is understood that there were 110 marks of violence. There were abrasions about the knees suggesting that Mr. Herkt had fallen from the rocks into the sea. 110 suffered from loss of memory and had been reported to the police as missing from his home since May 5. An inquest will be held.
