AT POINT OF THE GUN.
GOLF DIRECTORS ROBBED. CHICAGO, May 1. Five masked bandits in a motor car, armed with a machine-gun, a shotgun and three pistols, invaded the exclusive Westward Ho Golf Club's building in a suburb this evening and stole 700 dollars in cash and a considerable .amount of jewellery from members of the board of directors. At the time the victims of the robbery were listening to an informal talk by Horton Smith, famous professional, about the coming visit of a Japanese golf team.
