HAMILTON, Wednesday.
General improvement in the financial position was reported at the annual meeting of St. Peter's Cathedral parishioners last night. The statement of accounts showed a surplus for the year. The Dean, the Very Rev. T. C. Weatherhog, presided
Appreciation was expressed of the efforts of Bishop Cherringtoii in acting as dean during 11 months of the financial year. The election of officers resulted as follows: —Dean's warden, Mr. A. B. Whyte; people's warden, Mr. F. B. Hall; chapter, Messrs. C. F. E. Barton, F. H. Clapham, A. C. Dimmock, R. English, H. S. Innes, Jones, L. V. Judd, J. T. Reid, S. E. Senior, E.'L. Watkins and Cf. Wheeler; synodsmen, Messrs. H. 0. Sergei and F. H. Claphamj auditor, Mr. R. P. Hazard.
