NORTHLAND TOURNEY. WHANGAREI RINK CHAMPIONS. The North Auckland Bowling Centre's full-rink tournament terminated yesterday. The champion team was Cleary, Marwick, Eccles, Miller (Wliangarei), who defeated Peko. Bagloy, Jones, Davey (Dargavllle) by 27 to 12. Results of Friday's play :— Section A. —Fourth round : Davoy 22, v. Cox 10; I'iggott 30, v. Cliff .10: Orr 25, v. Staple 18. Fifth round : Orr 23, v. I'iggott 13 : Davey 24, v. Cliff .13; Cox 22, v. Staple 13. Davey and Orr tied in the section, each with four wins and one loss. In the play-off Davey defeated Orr by live points to three. Section B. —Fourth round : Courtenay 23, v Cutforth 10; Miller 21, v. Vodanovlch 10. Fifth round: Courtenay 22, v. Curtis 18; Miller 22, v. Cutforth 13. Miller won the section with five wins.
