N. AUCKLAND MEETINGS. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) DARGAVILLE, Friday. Continuing the campaign for authority to reticulate the North Auckland electric power district, the chairman of the board, Mr. A. McLean, and the engineer. Mr. T. R. Overton, have addressed Hobson County ratepayers at.Te Kopuru, Tangaihi, Koremoa, Wailiue. Mamaranui, Kaihu and-Donnell's Crossing. Speaking, yesterday, the chairman said that the" ratepayers liad given the proposals a most favourable reception at every place visited and that votes ©f confidence in the board's proposals had been carried almost always unanimously. At Paparoa, the Otamatea County Council, on a motion moved by Mr. Rodney Coatcs, the county chairman, passed a resolution supporting the campaign for electricity reticulation.
