Grey Campbell presiding, it was decided that nominations for the senior grade competition close a week after the annual meeting which is to take place on April 9. It was resolved to approve a proposal by the A.R.L. ladies' committee to hold a jubilee ball early in May in honour of His Majesty the King, supreme patron of the Kugby League. The recommendation stated that provision had been made for the use of a central city cabaret, and preparations were already in train to make the event an outstanding one in the history of the game. The appointment of Mr. D. Wilkie as chairman of the junior committee and representative on the senior board was approved, and Mr. Wilkie was congratulated.

The chairman said he was pleased to note that Mr. E. W. Cloke, an ex-New Zealand representative player, was again actively associated with the game as secretary of Newton Rangers.
