FELL 25 FEET.

CARPENTER'S INJURIES. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WARKWORTH, this day. Severe injuries to his right shoulder and hip were sustained by Mr. L. Ifavill, a foreman-carpenter, of Papatbetoe. when he fell 25ft from a roof yesterday afternoon. llr. Havill was engaged in carrying out repairs to the roof of Mr. J. P. Smytlieman's home in Hill Street, and missed his footing on a new section of roofing iron. He was a'ttendod by Dr. Hart Osborne, and was later taken to the Auckland Hospital. Mr. HaviJl's condition is regarded as fairly serious.
