AUCKLAND ASSOCIATION. ANNUAL. ELECTION~OF OFFICERS. The annual general meeting of the Auckland Wrestling Association was held at the Commercial Travellers' Club on Thursday nlsbt.

Hodgson, K. T. Keid ; committee. Messrs. G. Oxspring, W. 11. Ready, 11. M. Warner, A. W. Bunker, .T. 11. Ki'nnear, C. D. McCrendy, G. Learning, K. Robcrtshaw. G. llenld, 11. J. Ashby, V. Snick and R. T. Reid; lion, surgeons. Drs. T. Harold Pettit, W. H. Horton, H. M. Buchanan, J. C. D. Mackny, J. Aitken Peterson. M. G. Peznro; auditor, Mr. N. A. Diithie, F.P.A. (N.Z.). The annual report stated that early this year a special match was arranged between Walker nnd Burmister, and, considering the time of the year, the attendance was most satisfactory clearly indicating that even in the off season patrons retain a keen interest in the sport. Results oE professional matches for the 1934 season: Walker. 8 matches, C wins, 2 draws, 0 losses ; Detton, C, 2, 1, 3; Meyer, 5, 3, 1, 1; Santen, 3, 1, 0, 2; Shikina, 3, 1. 0. 2; Bey, 2, 1, 0. 1: Browning, 2, 0 0, 2; Felice, 2 0, 0, 2; Ronnenherg, 2, 1, 0, 1; Cheung, 1. 0, 0, 1 ; Koloff. 1, 1, 0, 0; Michot 1, 0, 0, 1 : Mamos, 1, 0, 0, 1; Burmister, 1, 0, 0, l. Amateur Championships. Tho amateur championships entailed two elimination contests the first at Auckland and tho second at Hamilton, and the final issue was decided at Wellington. The Auckland results were: Fly-weight, Kisha Bana bantam-weight, W. Bong: featherweight C. Wilson ; light-weight. K. Brewer ; welter-weight, V. Kawle; middle-weight, J. McDonald ; light-heavyweight R. Douglas ; heavy-weight, IT. Cleghornt-'. The North Island results were : Welterweight, V. Rawle; light-heavyweight, R. Douglas; middle-weight, ,T. McDonald. The New Zealand championships gave the following championships to Auckland : Wel-ter-weight, V. Kawle; light-heavyweight, R. Douglas. The congratulations of the association lire extended to V. Rervle and R. Douglas in winning their bouts through the different stages to finally securing the New Zealand championships in their various weights.
