PROGRESSIVE CLUB.
The weekly meeting of the club was held on Thursday, and despite the wet evening was well attended. Mrs. Sullivan was in the chair. The , main feature of the evening was a group* discussion held by the members. The following were am.ong the subjects chosen for discussion: "Should women wear shorts?" "Should parking bo allowed in the main streets on late shopping nigths?" Mesdanies Bragg, Leonard and Gladding were the hostesses for the evening.
