(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Friday. In a reserved judgment, the Chief Justice, Sir Michael Myers, has granted a writ of prohibition to Aata Eakete Tipene and two others, restraining the chief judge, Mr. R. N. Jones, and Judge Harvey, of the Native Land Court, from hearing, entertaining or acting upon an application by Tumc Tunie for amendment or cancellation of certain succession orders of the Native Land Court concerning land in the Chatham Islands.

The Chief Justice held that on this admitted facts of the case, there was no jurisdiction to entertain the application.
