DAHLIA SHOW.
NEW LYNN SOCIETY. LARGE ENTRY. The St. Thomas', New Lynn and district Horticultural Society's annual dahlia show was held yesterday. In spite of the severe s.torm a week ago, the quality of the blooms was outstanding and the number of entries easily exceeded any previous show. There were exhibits from Avondale South, Mount Albert and Point Chevalier. Following is the prize-lfst:— Champion Bloom.—Open section : Mr. Ij. Garmson's Daily Mail. Aninteur section : Mr. A.
