FURTHER RISES IN PRICES. (By Telegraph.—Special to "Star.") CHRISTCHURCH, this day. The main features of this morning's call were further rises in price levels, compared with earlier quotations this week. Sellers of Reserve Bank . raised their limits to £6 12/6, buyers being 2/ behind. The market for Tooth's Brewery responded to a cable concerning the amount of damaccs payable, and following business yesterday at £2 7/6 further buyers offered 3d higher. Sellers were at £2 8/0. Sellers of Broken Hill, Colonial Sugar and Du'nlop advanced, their limits substantially. " The last-named sales marked a rise of 2d from yesterday afternoon, the market closing firm between 17/ and Mining business was small. Mmint Lyell made a substantial advance of 3/2(1.
