MARRIED AND SINGLE UNEMPLOYED.

Some months ago there was considerable agitation against the proposal of the Unemployment Board to send married men into country Camps. The Manukati County Council has a gang working in the Weyniouth district which include* several single men. In my opinion, married ratepayers of the county should if possible be given work near their homes and the single men with no home responsibilities should be sent into the country on reproductive work.
