TRAM SMASH.

IN SYDNEY STREET. One Man Killed and Six People Injured. FATALITY THIS MORNING. ("United P.A.—Electric Telegraph—Copyrisbt) (Received 2 p.m.) SYDNEY, this day. One man was killed and six passengers were injured in a tram smash in the city this morning. One tram had jumped the points and a second car crashed into it with terrific force.

Passengers were hurled in all directions, and showered by splintered woodwork and glass. A number of women fainted.

The man who was killed was precipitated from his seat between two trams His body was frightfully mangled.
