CIVIL ENGINEERS.
SOCIAL ENTERTAINMENT.
I The reception hall at Milne and Choyce was beautifully arranged last evening, when the visiting delegates for the annual meeting of the New Zealand Society of Civil Engineers attended a social function. In the Tudor room card tables were arranged for nondancers, and supper was served at the lower end of the hall, the tables looking colourful with bowls of zinnias, asters and uink dahlias.
Songs were rendered by Mr. Robert Simmers, humorous items by Miss Edna Thomas, and Mr. R. Feinvick gave an eccentric dance. The latest dance airs were supplied by an orchestra under the leadership of Mr. Eric Bell.
