PAPAKURA INSTITUTE.
The February meeting was well attended, and two new members elected. This keeps up the record of having new members received at each meeting since the foundation two and a half years ago. Dimn gave an instructive demonstration of rug making. The onthly competitions for prizes were won by Mesdames H. C. Baulf (coffee sandwich), I. Williamson (bran econes), with Mrs. T. Sloane second in each case. An excellent exhibition of dancing was given by Miss Charles, and Mrs. Baulf rendered songs. The hostesses were Mesdames Elliott, Ken wick, Abbisa and Jackson.
