OHURA SHOW.
STOCK ENTRIES HEAVY. (From Our Own Correspondent.) TAUMARUNUI, Wednesday. The weather was perfect for the opening of the Ohura A., P., H. and I. Association's twenty-fifth show this morning, and judging was carried out under ideal conditions. Entries in the stock sections were more numerous than usual, but there was a falling off in the number of shed exhibits, the recent rain and the white butterfly pest being responsible for the destruction of flowers and vegetables in the district. All the stock were in splendid condition, and visitors were favourably impressed with the sheep shown. Awards: — SHEEP. Judge : Mr. A. Browu, Feilding. Romnevs.—Ram. any age: F. Romayne 1. G. K.
