PRISON ESCAPEE.
THEFT WHILE AT LIBERTY. Alfred John Bulick, aged 2G, grocer, who escaped from the Hautu prison camp early in January and later surrendered to the Wellington police, was charged in the Police Court'to-day with the theft of an overcoat, a wallet and a set of dentures, of the total value of £13, at Wellington on January 7. Bulick pleaded guilt}-. Detective-Sergeant McHugh said Buhck was now serving a sentence of two years' imprisonment, and the present charge was brought to dispose of the matter.
Buhck was convicted and discharged by Mr. P. K. Hunt, S.M;
