LEAGUE OF MOTHERS.

ONEHUNGA. Owing to the inclemency of the weather, the annual re-union, usually held in Jellicoe Park, was held in the Onehunga Presbyterian Hall on Thursday. Mrs. W. J. Jordan occupied the chair and welcomed the members and visitors. There was a large attendance despite the rain, and listeners were very much inspired by the address given by Mrs. S. 0. English, the provincial president. Musical and elocutionary items were given by Mesdames Wentworth and Kirkpatrick respectively. Very interesting letters from the Troon branch in Ayrshire were read by the correspondent secretary, Mrs. Bindon. (
