PENALTY FOR CRIME.
CASES AT NEW PLYMOUTH. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, this day. Found guilty on charges of making a false declaration and of concealing stock that was part of the security, for a bill of sale. Levin Bunn, a farmer, of Puniwhekau, was sentenced by Mr. Justice Blair to-day to three months' hard labour. , Tui Happi, for theft, was sentenced to eighteen months' imprisonment.
