HAUPTMANN PLEA.
APPEAL AGAINST SENTENCE. NEW YORK, February. 22. Bruno Hauptiuann's new lawyers are basing their appeal against the death sentence passed on accused, on a claim that the body found was not that of the Lindbergh infant, the latter presumably being still alive. This is in the face of the parents' positive identification.
