TEPID BATHS.

EXTRA ACCOMMODATION,

A decision to proceed with the providing of extra accommodation at the Hobson Street tepid baths was arrived at by the City Council last night. The work will include an additional seating gallery at the entrance end of the baths, with a staircase in the light well, giving an entrance through the main brick wall. It will be a permanent work and will give additional accommodation for 140. It was decided to use the No. 3 loan proposal for the work.
