Drive Against Communists In Vienna. SPEAKER SHOOTS POLICE. (Received 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, February 13. The Vienna correspondent of the "Daily Mail" states that serious fighting occurred in the central square of Ottaskring, a Viennese suburb. Two hundred Communists attempted to hold a meeting and a standard-bearer began an address - . Policemen made an effort to seize the flag, whereupon the speaker shot two of them with a revolver. Reinforcements arrived and the Communists opened fire on them with rifles. The police replied by killing the ringleader and wounding three of the demonstrators. Two more policemen were seriously injured.
