NORTHUMBERLAND FROM

LIVERPOOL

WAIKAWA FROM PACIFIC FORTS. The New Zealand Shipping Company's cargo steamer Northumberland arrived this morning from Liverpool and west of England ports with general cargo. This trip slie is not carrying her usual number of apprentices, as they have all been transferred to another ship. The weather in the Atlantic was very rough, but after entering the Pacific it was all that could be desired. The Waikawa, which arrived this morning from Apia, reports specially line weather. The Monterey left for Sydney at 0.20 last evening with a big passenger list. She was followed an hour later by the Monowai, also a full ship. They are both due at Sydney on Monday evening. Northumberland arrived from Liverpool at 7.15 this morning, and berthed at the Queen's wharf to discharge cargo from west of England ports. (N.Z.S.) Waikawa arrived from Los Angeles, via Samoa, shortly before S o'clock this morning, berthing at the Prince's wharf. Her shipment of bananas is landing in good condition. (U.S.S.) Wanganella left Sydney at 4.30 p.m. yesterday, and is due here at 7 a.m. on Tuesday. She leaves the same day at 5 p.m. with excursionists for the North. She is due back on Friday morning, and leaves for Sydney at 5 p.m. (H.P. Co.) Paua, the Shell Company's tanker, arrives from Southern ports on Monday. (S.O. Co.) Kalingo Is due from Newcastle on Monday at 8 a.m., and berths at the Prince's wharf. (U.S.S.) • Pukeko arrives to-morrow afternoon from Gisborne, and berths at the Central wharf. (R.S. Co.) Poolta is to arrive from Westport at 3 a.m. to-morrow, and berths at the Prince's wharf, later proceeding to Chelsea. (U.S.S.) She is due here oii Monday, February IS and sails on Tuesday February 19, for Sydney. Poolta arrives at 3 a.m. to-morrow from Westport. She berths at Prince's wharf. Kalingo arrives at S a.m. on Mondav from Newcastle and Sydney. After discharge here she proceeds to Wellington and Mirnmar. Waimarino left Wellington at 1.30 nni yesterday for Auckland, via Napier. She leaves Napier at 3 p.m. to-day and bertlx at Prince's wharf on arrival. After discharge here she loads for Napier, Wellington, Picton. Lyttelton, Dunedin and Timaru sailing on Thursday next for these ports.
